Course Type:
4 Hour Multimedia PowerPoint Lecture
Course Description This lecture is designed for general dentists or specialists who are interested in learning the most modern, safe, and predictable techniques available in endodontics. Upon completion of this lecture, the dentist will have learned techniques they can bring back to their clinical practice. The course will teach techniques in treating the endodontically treated tooth from access, through instrumentation, obturation, and finally with restoration. Examples of techniques taught in this lecture are: elimination of hand-fatigue, new and improved reciprocation techniques, more advanced ways to obturate canals, and practice building tips that will enhance the dentist’s confidence while performing endodontics.
Goals and Objectives:
  • New and improved techniques that perform superior instrumentation of canals.
  • The benefits of using engine driven reciprocation as opposed to Rotary NiTi or hand instrumentation.
  • The most efficient obturation techniques available today.
  • Learn when and when not to use a post in restoration and which core materials should be used for optimal results.
  • To perform superior, single visit endodontics without fear of instrument separation and high instrumentation costs.
  • To learn the most effective way to treat endodontically treated teeth, from access, instrumentation, obturation, and restoration
